According to the world health organisation, diseases such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes and chronic lung disease are collectively responsible for 74% of all deaths worldwide. It is acknowledged that lifestyle plays a key role in contributing to these diseases. So what’s stopping us all? Making these changes to your lifestyle is complicated.
Just being given information is not enough for us to adopt those healthy lifestyles we all coset long term. The information is often generic and does not take into account the variety of complicated factors that all affect our decisions on how we live our lives. Making lifestyle changes that are both appropriate and sustainable is challenging. Making sense of the advice on what you should or shouldn’t be doing is again, challenging.
